Created as the fifth and expected final size in the Ashton Estate Sun Grown series, the Ashton ESG 24 Year Salute brings the line’s rare Dominican character to a 6 5/8 x 48 Double Perfecto. It is handcrafted at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in Santiago, Dominican Republic, using an all-Dominican blend highlighted by an ultra-rare sun grown wrapper from Chateau de la Fuente.
This cigar is known for a medium-bodied profile that layers creamy cocoa with a refined tobacco core and a peppery aroma, offering more nuance than flash. The tapered Double Perfecto shape adds a distinctive presentation without overshadowing the blend itself, and a measured smoking pace can reasonably put this vitola in the 75 to 105 minute range. Produced in extremely limited quantities, the 24 Year Salute stands as one of the more elusive expressions in the ESG collection.
