Created to mark Ashton’s two decades of growth, the Ashton ESG 21 Year Salute is a distinctive Robusto-format cigar from the Estate Sun Grown line, blended by Carlos Fuente Jr. and handcrafted in the Dominican Republic. Its defining feature is a rare Dominican sun grown wrapper cultivated at Chateau de la Fuente, a leaf developed specifically for this series and not used on other Ashton cigars.
That singular wrapper gives the cigar a richer, more concentrated character than many traditional Dominican offerings, with notes often centered on cedar, earth, spice, coffee, and a touch of natural sweetness. The 5 1/4 x 52 format offers a balanced presentation of the blend and generally allows for about 50 to 75 minutes of smoking time, depending on pace.
