Developed through more than 100 blend iterations, Rocky Patel Sapphire Sixty reflects the patient, detail-driven approach behind one of the brand’s more refined modern releases. Handcrafted at Rocky Patel’s TAVICUSA factory in Nicaragua, this 6 x 60 premium cigar uses a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper over dual binders from Estelí, Nicaragua and Honduras’ Jamastran Valley, with aged Nicaraguan fillers from Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa creating a balanced, deeply layered profile.
Many of the tobaccos in the blend were aged for six to seven years, and that extra maturity comes through in the cigar’s texture and composure. Expect a rich but polished character with notes of roasted coffee, espresso, caramel, dark chocolate, cedar, baking spices, and a lingering natural sweetness. In this large-gauge format, Rocky Patel Sapphire Sixty settles into a cool, unhurried smoke that typically rewards a relaxed pace with about 75 to 100 minutes of smoking time.
