La Antiguedad Super Toro
La Antiguedad Super Toro
La Antiguedad Super Toro is the longest regular-production size in this My Father line, a 7 x 56 box-pressed cigar that showcases the brand’s richer, more layered side. Handmade in Nicaragua, it features an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper over a double Nicaraguan binder of Criollo and Corojo, with Nicaraguan fillers drawn from three growing regions. The blend was developed by José "Pepin" Garcia and Jaime Garcia, giving the cigar a profile with more depth and weight than a straightforward spice-forward smoke.
Well-aged tobaccos help keep that intensity refined, with notes of cocoa, roasted coffee, leather, earth, and measured pepper balanced by a subtle floral sweetness. In this 7 x 56 format, expect an unhurried smoking time of roughly 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on pace. It is a strong, hearty expression of La Antiguedad, but one that remains composed and nuanced rather than heavy-handed.
