Beneath that wrapper is a Honduran Connecticut binder and a filler blend of Honduran Jamastran, Honduran La Entrada, Nicaraguan Condega, and Nicaraguan Estelí tobaccos. The combination delivers a medium-bodied smoke with a darker, more savory character than many smokers expect from Cohiba, showing notes of cocoa, espresso, cedar, earth, leather, and pepper with a measured underlying sweetness.
