Built around a Mexican San Andrés wrapper that marked a first for the non-Cuban Cohiba portfolio, the Cohiba Riviera Perfecto – Box Pressed takes the line in a darker, more full-flavored direction than many smokers expect from the name. Beneath that leaf is a Honduran Connecticut binder and a filler blend that combines tobaccos from Nicaragua’s Estelí and Condega regions with Honduran Jamastran and La Entrada, all handcrafted in Honduras.
The 6 x 60 perfecto uses its broad, box-pressed figurado format to give this blend an especially substantial presentation, while the profile stays medium-bodied with a layered character built around earth, spice, sweetness, and a touch of cocoa and leather.
