Cohiba Riviera Lancero – Box Pressed
Cohiba Riviera Lancero – Box Pressed
Riviera marked an important first for Cohiba: the brand’s first box-pressed regular-production blend and its first use of a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. In the Lancero format, that concept takes on a more focused profile, pairing the dark, oily wrapper with a Honduran Connecticut binder and a filler blend of Honduran Jamastran, Honduran La Entrada, Nicaraguan Condega, and Nicaraguan Estelí tobaccos.
The 7 x 38 Cohiba Riviera Lancero – Box Pressed is handcrafted in Honduras and delivers a medium to full-bodied smoke built around earth, leather, oak, and peppery spice, with a measured sweetness that keeps the profile balanced rather than heavy. Its slimmer box-pressed shape gives this vitola a more deliberate feel than the thicker sizes in the line, and at an easygoing pace, expect roughly 75 to 105 minutes of smoking time.
