My Father And Tatuaje La Union
My Father And Tatuaje La Union Cigars are all about how tobacco can bring people together. The blends celebrate a friendship that has lasted twenty years. That friendship is between José “Pepin” Garcia of My Father Cigars and Pete Johnson of Tatuaje, who decided to commemorate their platinum anniversary with four glorious new smokes.
Inside each box, fans will find four distinct cigars from the two tobacco masters. Each box is split into two sets, distinguished with red and black interiors, with each set containing two blends.
The La Union Prominente Especial Black box set contains Johnson's cigar, a Nicaraguan blend cradled in a shade grown Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 cover leaf. As well as Garcia's cigar, another Nicaraguan mix draped with a savory Ecuador Habano wrapper. The LA Union Prominente Especial Red box set holds Johnson's creation, a Nicaraguan delight sporting a buttery, smooth Ecuador Sumatra wrapper. While Garcia opted for a Nicaraguan long filler complimented by a crisp Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.
The Nicaraguan tobacco used for each blend long filler was grown at Garcia's farm and even contains some Pelo d’Oro leaf. Resulting in a truly legendary, perhaps once in a generation flavor profile. You'll be able to savor those tasting notes for quite some time, as each cigar is seven and a quarter inches with a fifty ring gauge.
