Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade Toro
Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade Toro
Macanudo took an uncommon path with the Inspirado Brazilian Shade by growing Connecticut shade tobacco in Brazil’s Bahia region, a setting that gives the wrapper a different character than the milder shade leaves many smokers expect. On the Toro, that distinctive wrapper is paired with a Mexican San Andrés binder and a multinational filler blend that includes Brazilian Matafina, Dominican Piloto Cubano, Dominican Cubita Mao, and Nicaraguan Jalapa tobaccos.
The cigar is made in a 6 1/2 x 52 Toro format and lands in a medium-bodied range, offering a creamy profile with notes of cocoa, toasted nuts, sweet earth, and a measured spice. That combination makes it an easy cigar to revisit when you want nuance without excessive weight. At a relaxed pace, the Toro generally offers about 60 to 80 minutes of smoking time.
