Blended as part of E.P. Carrillo’s Classic Series, the Dusk Solidos presents the line’s broadleaf-forward profile in a substantial 6 x 60 Gordo format. Handmade in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera La Alianza, it combines a dark USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with an Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan fillers, giving the cigar a medium to full-bodied character that feels earthy, dense, and well rounded rather than harsh.
Expect a creamy smoke with notes of cedar, dark coffee, nuts, mocha, subtle fruit, and a measured touch of pepper. The larger Solidos vitola offers a long, unhurried session, generally around 90 to 120 minutes depending on smoking pace, making it a fitting choice when you want the Dusk blend’s richer maduro character in a slower-smoking format.
