The folks at E.P. Carrillo have kept us waiting on this new release for a while. Originally introduced in 2016, it wasn’t until 2018 that they finally released the EP Carrillo Encore to the clamoring masses. A Nicaraguan Puro, the Encore comes joins the ranks of La Historia and Inch in the annals of great cigar lines that can be credited to the legendary Carrillo family.
Aged for 2 years, the Encore is a smooth and creamy Medium to Full bodied smoke blended by Ernesto Perez-Carillo himself. This expertly balanced cigar features notes of spice and wood with a sweet earthiness throughout. This Nicaraguan cigar features a Habaos Seed Jalapa wrapper that has a shiny silky sheen thanks to the unique Cuban “Tercios” process that was used in the creation of this gem of a cigar. While the cigars can be elevated by aging it further in a humidor, they are ready to smoke right out the box as well.
