The folks at E.P. Carrillo Cigars have kept us waiting on this new release for a while. Originally introduced in 2016, it wasn’t until 2018 that they finally released the EP Carrillo Encore. A Nicaraguan Puro, the Encore comes joins the ranks of La Historia and Inch in the annals of great cigar lines. Which can be credited to the legendary Carrillo family.

Aged for 2 years, the Encore is a smooth and creamy Medium to Full bodied and full flavored smoke. Created by master blender Ernesto Perez-Carrillo himself. This expertly balanced cigar features tasting notes of spice and wood with a sweet earthiness throughout.

This Nicaraguan cigar features a Habaos Seed Jalapa wrapper. Which has a shiny silky sheen thanks to the unique Cuban “Tercios” process. These premium cigars can be elevated by aging them further in a humidor. But they are ready to smoke right out the box as well.

With a flavor profile so epic, it's no wonder that EPC Cigars are so frequently on cigar of the year lists!

EP Carrillo Trilogy

Two Number Ones and One Number Two

Where else can you get 2 Number Ones and One Number two rated cigars by Cigar Aficionado, including the highest rated cigar ever for the price of $35. Only at Mikes, This is a steal of a deal. My favorite of the bunch is the Pledge Prequel. Its dark, oily, maduro wrapper almost looks to go to smoke. I watched mine for 6 months in my humidor before I gave it a puff. I don't have the most distinguished palate but I could definitely taste black cherry and the blast of pepper (my favorite). These cigars should be in everyone's humidor.
