This 5 3/8 x 52 box-pressed Robusto uses a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper over a Mexican San Andres binder and Nicaraguan fillers from Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa, delivering a blend with greater depth and firmness while staying true to Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s balanced approach to blending.
The wrapper’s extended fermentation and the aged core tobaccos give this cigar a dense, expressive character marked by earth, dark cocoa, pepper, and espresso-like richness, with a touch of natural sweetness underneath. Made in the Dominican Republic, it offers full-bodied flavor without sacrificing composure or nuance. In this Robusto size, expect roughly 45 to 60 minutes of smoking time, depending on pace.
