The prestigious honor was giving to Ernesto Perez-Carrillo for a second time; with his EP Carrillo Pledge Prequel. E.P. Carrillo Encore Aged for 2 years, the Encore is a smooth and creamy Medium to Full bodied smoke blended by Ernesto Perez-Carillo himself. This expertly balanced cigar features notes of spice and wood with a sweet earthiness throughout. This Nicaraguan cigar features a Habaos Seed Jalapa wrapper that has a shiny silky sheen thanks to the unique Cuban “Tercios” process that was used in the creation of this gem of a cigar. While the cigars can be elevated by aging it further in a humidor, they are ready to smoke right out the box as well.

EP Carrillo La Historia EP Carrillo's La Historia cigar is a tribute to the members of the Perez-Carrillo family who've supported Ernesto to continue evolving and perfecting his craft for decades and this cigar does not disappoint. This is the first box-pressed cigars under the E.P. Carrillo brand. The design for the cigar band and packaging is marvelous with ornate artwork. The colors are vivid and eye-catching. The wrapper is a Mexican San Andreas, the binder is Ecuadorian Sumatra and the filler is Dominican and Nicaraguan. Once you light one of these cigars, you'll instantly taste the draw of rich, roasted nuts, coffee, hints of black pepper, and dark cocoa and hints of creaminess. This is a medium-to-full body cigar that will have you yearning for another cigar after finishing one.
