Perdomo created the 10th Anniversary Sun Grown line to mark a milestone for one of its best-known collections, and the Super Toro gives that richer wrapper style plenty of room to show its character. This 6 x 60 box-pressed cigar is made in Nicaragua with six-year-aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, finished with a six-year-aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper that is bourbon barrel-aged for an additional 10 months.
That extra aging helps shape a medium to full-bodied profile built around earth, oak, and toast, with notes of almonds, spice, and a touch of sweetness on the finish. The larger Super Toro format offers a leisurely smoking pace; expect roughly 75 to 105 minutes, depending on cadence.
