Perdomo built its 10th Anniversary Sun Grown around well-aged Nicaraguan tobaccos and a bourbon barrel-aged wrapper, giving this box-pressed Robusto a profile that feels richer and more refined than its approachable price point suggests. The blend is a Nicaraguan puro, using 6-year-old Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler beneath a 6-year-old Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper that spends an additional 10 months in bourbon barrels before rolling.
In this 5 x 54 Robusto format, the cigar delivers a medium- to full-bodied smoke with an earthy core, balanced by notes of oak, almond, toast, gentle sweetness, and a measured touch of spice on the finish.
