Created as a tribute to the promise José “Pepin” Garcia made when he left Cuba to build a future in premium cigars, My Father La Promesa Toro pairs that story with a richer, more refined profile than many smokers expect from the brand. This 6 x 52 Toro is handmade in Nicaragua and dressed in a dark Ecuadorian Habano rosado oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos grown on the Garcia family’s farms in Estelí.
The blend lands in the medium to full-bodied range, bringing together pepper, leather, oak, and cream with a firm core of natural tobacco sweetness. The Toro format gives the cigar enough room to show both its spice and its smoother side without overstating either one; at a relaxed pace, it typically offers about 70 to 90 minutes of smoking time.
