Created to mark Macanudo’s 50th anniversary, Macanudo Inspirado Red Toro takes the brand in a bolder direction with a Nicaraguan-made blend built around aged tobaccos from several notable growing regions. The filler combines Nicaraguan leaves including 12-year-aged Ometepe and 5-year-aged Estelí, supported by a 10-year-aged Honduran Jamastran leaf, a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder, and an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper that brings balance to the cigar’s underlying spice.
This Toro delivers a full-bodied profile with a pepper-forward character and enough refinement to keep the blend composed rather than aggressive. Expect a rich, spicy smoke shaped by the depth of its aged tobaccos and the influence of Macanudo’s Estelí production. In a classic Toro format, it generally offers about 75 to 95 minutes of smoking time at an easy pace.
