Rocky Patel Edge Maduro The EDGE Toro is a dark, savory smoke with a 5-year-aged tobacco blend super-charged with bold Nicaraguan-Honduran Ligero fillers, Nicaraguan binder, and a Costa Rican Maduro wrapper leaf. Full body, but creamy smooth and full of flavors, this Edge Maduro is bold and sweet.

Oliva Serie O Maduro Oliva Serie O Maduro is a Nicaraguan Puro, made in the original Cuban tradition of using a single Habano seed grown in diverse regions of the country to produce a distinct taste. In the case of the Serie O Maduro, this was achieved by growing Habano seed in the Esteli, Condega and Jalapa Valleys. Grown and produced under the same demanding standards as the Oliva Serie G, the Oliva Serie O product line received the same rave reviews as the G line, but differs in that it is a “puro” (pure) cigars, that is, made from a mix of tobaccos from the same country. This ensures a harmonized blend of aged tobaccos, creating a more mature smoke. The “O” sports a dark oily Piloto Cubano Nicaraguan grown wrapper and similar blend.

Twelve year old age wrapper with 8 year old fillers, this cigar is a nice nutty rich cigar, yet smooth and balanced. Any cigar aficionado will tell you that when Rocky blends a cigar, it tends to lean towards the sophisticated palate. It's really not for the novice. Rocky says that when blending tobaccos from various regions, it takes greater skill and knowledge but the end result is the symmetry and marrying of all these flavors to produce a great tasting cigar. “I blend every cigar myself. It's absolutely time-consuming and painstaking. I'll literally go through a hundred blends until I settle into a palate winner. Most of my blends are a year in the making.”
