Excalibur Black No. 1 brings a darker expression to one of Hoyo de Monterrey’s longest-running Honduran lines, pairing the brand’s familiar smoothness with a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper for added depth and spice. Honduran and Nicaraguan ligero tobaccos give the blend a fuller, more savory core than the classic Excalibur profile, while the long 7 1/4 x 54 format offers this blend ample room to settle in at an unhurried pace.
Expect a medium-bodied smoke with a richer character built around earth, pepper, and naturally sweet maduro notes rather than sheer strength.
