Stopped smoking cigars for several year, and am now just getting back to it. Rocky’s were some of the first cigars I smoked, so I picked one I never tried. The Vintage 2003 Rock Patel was amazing from the start. The flavors were great and had a great natural progression. It was smooth, had great smoke output, an all around great smoke. I will definitely buy a few more boxes.

I love Cameroon wrapped cigars so I had to try this one and it has become one of my favorites. The Rocky Patel Vintage 2003 Cameroon in the robusto sports a little longer length than most robustos which gives it a more attractive look, at least to me. It starts off medium with sweet notes of caramel and then goes up to a medium-full during the last 3rd with black pepper added to the sweetness.

This big boy in the 03 vintage line definitely steps it down a notch and power coming in at a mild to medium strength. There's a boatload of spice and pepper and a thick sweetness that hangs over the smoke like molasses.

Short, sweet and spicy
A quick fix and a spicy mix. These little cigars blast off with toasted almonds in the beginning an amp up sweetness and the spice in the last couple of minutes. Really nice transition for such a quick smoke

2003 was a good year
A true medium strength cigar that carries more flavor notes than can fit in this review. Spice chocolate almonds toast are just a few that I picked up on. This is a very complex cigar that you can smoke first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening

Not what I normally smoke but definitely something that you can thoroughly enjoy occasionally. Can't really put my finger on it. Just think of it like Candela or a Kentucky fire cured. Definitely a signature taste and lots of spice.

Great little cigar!
Glad I bought theses Rocky Patel 2003 Juniors because I love the 4 x 38 size. Medium to full body with slight wood notes and creamy nutty finish. Lasts a good 30 minutes or so, will buy again.
