The wrappers are Honduran San Agustin Havana combined with a
premium blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan, Ometepe tobaccos. Ometepe
tobaccos are very special as they are grown on an island in Lake
Nicaragua formed by two volcanoes, making for very bold, decadent
flavors and aromas of sweet dulce de leche, triple espresso and strong
coffee beans, present and consistent throughout these cigars.
A nice and pleasant draw, old world construction and even perfect burn
are other attributes that makes this cigar worthwhile, in addition to its
absolutely beautiful appearance. Macanuco 1968 cigars are simply the
best.
