CAO Pilon Toro
CAO Pilon Toro
Old-world fermentation is the real point of distinction behind CAO Pilon Toro. For this blend, CAO revived the traditional round pilón method, a slower process that helps develop richer color and a more refined character in the leaf before the cigar is ever rolled. The result is a medium-bodied Toro made in the Dominican Republic with an Ecuadorian Habano Viso wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers.
That combination gives the cigar a profile centered on nuts, cocoa, cedar, spice, and pepper, with the added creaminess and subtle sweetness that have made the line easy to revisit. At 6 1/4 x 54, the Toro offers a fuller format for this blend without overstating the size, and it will generally reward an unhurried pace with about 60 to 85 minutes of smoking time.
