Description

Rocky Patel LB1 takes its name from the factory code used during development, a detail that reflects how closely the line is tied to the blending process rather than to a marketing concept. Rolled in Honduras, the collection is built around an Ecuador Habano wrapper, a Honduran binder, and a filler blend that combines Honduran ligero from the Jamastran Valley with Nicaraguan tobaccos from Condega and Estelí. That recipe gives the line a medium-bodied profile with more structure than many everyday cigars in the Rocky Patel portfolio.

Across the range, Rocky Patel LB1 is generally defined by a steady balance of earth, coffee, toast, wood, and restrained spice rather than by heavy sweetness or overt strength. The line earned broader attention when the Rocky Patel LB1 Robusto received an 88-point rating from Cigar Aficionado in 2020, a reflection of its place as a composed, approachable Honduran-made blend with a distinctly Central American character.

A Rocky for everyone

Rocky Patel LB1 Toro

The Rocky Patel LB1 Toro: a cigar that offers a rich and complex flavor profile.

The Rocky Patel LB1 Toro is a medium to full-bodied cigar that offers a rich and complex flavor profile. The wrapper is a smooth, dark chocolate color with a few visible veins, giving it a classic and refined appearance.

Upon lighting, the initial flavors are a bold mix of black pepper and cedar, which gradually give way to a smooth and creamy finish with hints of coffee and cocoa. The burn is even and consistent, producing a solid ash that holds on well. The draw is effortless, allowing for a smooth and enjoyable smoking experience from start to finish.

Overall, the Rocky Patel LB1 Toro is an excellent choice for those who enjoy a full-flavored and well-constructed cigar.

Lb1 Sauce

Saucy little robusto that packs a lot of spice but not too much power. Great intro to Rocky and also great for the spice lovers out there.

First Time

Funny enough I'm new to the smoking game and this was my first Rocky and my first Shaggy at the same time. I was quite taken back by how the flavor changes so drastically once you move past the uncut foot and get into the wrapper and binder. I would highly recommend this to anyone who's just getting started in this culture.

Poor start, great finish

Starts off a bit salty with some mineral notes... Bout half inch in it really cha he's for the better with cedar and sweet nutty notes. Never becomes strong but the same flavors then intensity until the end.

Rocky Patel LB1 Corona

44 LB1 ⭐

Quite a remarkable Corona type size. I always find that when Rocky includes anything with a 46 or below that they tend to become the star of whatever blend that they're in. This one definitely is just that

LB1 Shaggy

Nice job of showcasing this carefully selected fillers with this uncut style. You get a real transition when the wrapper and the binder get involved in the mix. Another home run for Rocky.

Ok

Not one of Rocky's best blends but not his worst either. Everything about the lb1 is middle of the road with the exception of its beautiful label. It just needs something more that I just can't put my finger on.

Rocky Patel LB1 Corona

Don't pass judgment

I never passed judgment on a line I'm just trying until I've tried a few different sizes. The 6*60 definitely wasn't my speed but this Corona maybe one of the best cigars i've smoked all year. Mega spice wrapped around a sweet creamy core makes you want to smoke this extra slow.
