For the first time since 2012—arguably 2008—Oliva releases an entirely new cigar line.
It’s called the Oliva Gilberto, named after the family’s patriarch, and if it looks a bit familiar, it’s because it is. The cigar was originally announced as the Facundo, Gilberto Oliva Sr.’s father and son of Melanio Oliva, who got his own cigar in 2012. However, due to a trademark conflict with rum maker Bacardi, the company changed the name. Just got a couple of these in a sampler and was very pleased with them. Construction and quality were what you would expect out of Oliva's higher end sticks. Worth the price, will be getting some more of these.

Okay so I know it's not a series v melanio but it's not priced to be either. This is an awesome medium-bodied super flavorful and complex cigar that allows you to smoke at your leisure without worrying about your budget.
