that approach.
The blend pairs an Ecuador Habano wrapper with a Honduran binder and Nicaraguan fillers, producing a medium-bodied profile that stays focused and composed across the line. Spice is a defining thread, but it is joined by a woody core and a rounder side of the blend often described in terms of butter and nutmeg, giving the cigars a refined character instead of a sharp or aggressive one. That combination has helped make Herrera Esteli Habano one of the most recognized traditional-style offerings in Drew Estate’s portfolio.
Its reputation was cemented early when the Herrera Esteli Piramide Fino earned 94 points from Cigar Aficionado and placed No. 8 in the publication’s Top 25 Cigars of 2013, a notable milestone for both the line and Drew Estate. For smokers drawn to a Nicaraguan-made Habano that emphasizes structure, aroma, and measured complexity, Herrera Esteli Habano remains a defining expression of Willy Herrera’s blending style.
