Introduced in 2017, Cohiba Blue was created as a more approachable expression within the Cohiba portfolio while keeping a clearly defined blend identity. It is made at General Cigar Dominicana in Santiago, using a Honduran Habano wrapper and binder over fillers from Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic, including Jamastran, Ometepe, and Piloto Cubano tobaccos.

That combination gives the line a medium-bodied profile built around creaminess, wood, light earth, and a savory character rather than the sharper spice or heavier weight associated with some stronger modern blends. Cohiba Blue is best understood as a regular-production series focused on balance and accessibility, with a multi-country recipe that sets it apart within a brand more often associated with richer, more elevated-priced offerings.

I've tried many Cohibas over the years and these fit nicely into the mix but if I must say in my best Jud Crandall voice..."Sometimes Red is bettah" lol

2 hour smoke? Yes!

This was bigger than I expected. The flavors are mild, the draw was smooth just as a Cohiba should be. Overall this cigar was perfect for a 2 hour smoke. Shared these with a few special friends, and they all loved it.

Sweet and Smooth!

First time having the blue series in the Cohiba lineup, will definitely be adding some more of these to humidors! It has a nice smooth pull with a hint of sweetness afterwards which adds a pleasant surprise. Pairs well with just about anything from coffee to bourbon to your favorite ale. Definitely won’t regret it.

Smooth as my first time

This stick is still as good as the first time I tried it. It does take a few minutes to heat up but once it does it's nothing but smooth and creamy with a pleasant retrohale. Enjoyed this one sitting outside watching the Alabama/Georgia football game using my projector on the side of the house, and paired with The MaCallan 12 year old.

Looked good, smelled good, but the burn was jagged and the draw was very tight until the last third. This was the third one I have had and have not had a great experience with any. Probably will not buy again.

One word....Awesome

I’m a newbie to the cigar world, literally a month. I’ve had exactly 20 different sticks and this is by far the best I’ve had. Wish I could rate it six stars. From the first draw starts out creamy and super smooth with a great medium body. Copious amount of smoke. Definitely got the faint cinnamon taste. Very, very consistent flavor throughout the entire length, I kept waiting for a flavor transition but it never came, even inside the band. Smoked this stick until I burned my lips. Awesome stick. I enjoyed mine at an empty sports book in Reno watching old baseball and the Patriots-Falcons Super Bowl. I lost $20 on the Falcons.
