Amar by AJ Fernandez Torito Cigars prove that you can't keep a good man down, as the master blenders shows off his best work yet. In the aftermath of a fire at Fernandez’s main production facility, Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A., A.J. Fernandez used the difficult moment as motivation for a fresh new blend.
The cigar, named “Amar,” was designed as a reflection of something deeply meaningful to AJ personally. Consistent with many of his creations, it is a handcrafted Nicaraguan puro made at the San Lotano Factory. A silky Habano wrapper serves as the outer layer, contributing an added sense of smoothness and balance.
After lighting, the smoke opens with full-bodied intensity supported by flavors of cocoa, cinnamon, and pepper, creating a rich and satisfying profile from start to finish. At six and a half inches with a fifty ring gauge, each stick is a sublime hour long smoke.
