Introduced in 2004, Rocky Patel Sun Grown remains one of the brand’s enduring fuller-flavored offerings, built around a five-year-aged Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper that gives the blend its signature spice and depth. Produced in Honduras, this torpedo format adds a tapered head to a line known for a richer, more assertive profile than many of Rocky Patel’s milder classics.
Beneath that wrapper, the blend draws on tobaccos from Honduras, with a medium-plus to full-bodied character marked by pepper, earth, espresso, and a touch of natural sweetness. The 6 1/4 x 52 Torpedo offers a focused, deliberate presentation of those flavors and generally smokes for about 60 to 90 minutes, depending on pace.
