Created to mark Rocky Patel’s first decade in the cigar business, the Rocky Patel Decade Toro Tubos remains one of the brand’s most recognizable regular-production cigars. This tubed Toro is handmade in Honduras and presents the blend in a format that travels well while preserving the line’s polished, mature character.
A dark Ecuador Sumatra wrapper covers Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, producing a rich, creamy smoke layered with notes of black cherry, chocolate, cream, and a spicy, nutty finish. At 6 1/2 x 52, the Toro Tubo generally offers about 75 to 95 minutes of smoking time, depending on pace. The Decade line earned a 95 rating and a place among Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of the Year in 2008, helping establish it as one of Rocky Patel’s most enduring milestone blends.
