Created as Rocky Patel’s most ambitious regular release to date, the Rocky Patel Conviction Toro pairs a deeply fermented Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper with vintage Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from the 2014 harvest. The wrapper’s extended fermentation in traditional tercios helps give this cigar its dark, oily appearance and a profile built around richness rather than brute strength.
Hand rolled in limited daily production, the Toro measures 6 1/2 x 52 and delivers a long, deliberate smoke that generally lasts about 75 to 95 minutes at an easy pace. Expect a medium-bodied character with layered notes of cedar, cocoa, dark chocolate, and measured spice, making this a polished choice for smokers who appreciate refined maduro depth with a more composed, nuanced presentation.
