Built around Perdomo’s 20th Anniversary blend, this Torpedo pairs a Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from the company’s farms in Estelí, Jalapa, and Condega. The wrapper is bourbon barrel-aged after extended aging, a signature touch that gives the cigar its layered character and a darker, richer profile than the Connecticut version in the line.
In the 6 1/2 x 54 Torpedo vitola, the blend delivers a medium- to full-bodied smoke with notes of earth, spice, oak, and cedar, supported by a natural sweetness that keeps the profile balanced rather than sharp. The tapered head offers a more focused delivery on the palate, and at a relaxed pace this size generally provides about 70 to 95 minutes of smoking time.
