Nica Boxed Pressed Fire Cigar Sampler
Nica boxes pressed fire is all about amazingly good boxed pressed Nicaraguan cigars! Nicaragua is often thought of having the best tobacco in the world! Even better the Cuba! Am not so sure how much truth is there. I know the Dominican Republic as a lot of good tobacco and Davidoff & Fuente uses a lot of their tobacco in their premium smokes. Then on the flip side Padron and My Father use a lot of Nicaraguan tobacco in their premium smoke. I have also had some pretty good Cuban's while on vacation. I guess its up to you my cigar loving friends! If you want to try some of Nicaraguans best pick up this sampler and especially try the Flor De Las Anitllas which won cigar of the year in 2012!
Berger & Argenti Entubar Gran Toro (6 5/8 x 64) A classic Cuban method of rolling a cigar, the Entubar is done by rolling the filler tobaccos into tubes, causing the center leaf to extend past the foot of the cigar, creating a “fuse” at the end. More than a novelty, the Entubar is a premium smoke that Maduro lovers will truly enjoy. Featuring a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan long-filler cloaked in an alluring Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper.
Avo Syncro Nicaragua Toro (6 x 54) AVO Syncro Nicaragua is a four-vitola release and it draws the inspiration from the idea of synchronizing Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco, similar to synchronizing different instruments to create music. The blend uses a darker Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua’s Ometepe and Olancho, Peru. AVO Syncro Nicaragua starts stimulating the back area of the palate with complex spicy and peppery flavours evoking a wild character at the beginning due to the pronounced Nicaraguan and Peruvian filler tobacco.
Flor De Las Antillas The Best Cigar of the year 2012!! This box pressed treasure is Jose Garcia's premier sun grown offering. It is a delicious smoke right from the first puff, “with notes of nutmeg, white pepper and just enough strength without being overpowering. They are hard to put down. They are classics, 96 point smokes on our 100-point scale.
Punch Diablo Diabolus (5 1/4 x 54) Featuring a blend of tobaccos aged 4-6 years, the Diablo wrings together a flavorful Honduran Habano tobacco with a sinfully spicy Nicaraguan Ligero long filler, for a smoke that is so wonderfully bold and deep, you will be transported to another plane on a cloud of smoke so luxurious, you will swear only a devious creature like Diablo, the devil, could have been behind this medium-full bodied cigar. Secured with a creamy Connecticut binder, and wrapped in a magically fermented Ecuadorian Sumatra Oscuro wrapper, the “devil” behind this enchanting stick is none other than AJ Fernandez himself. With a string of steady award-winning releases, many speculate that AJ must have made a deal with El Diablo himself! Punch Diablo by AJ brings the rich flavors of ripe black cherries, chocolate, and toasted marshmallows, with the edgy flavors of espresso coffee, and chili pepper. Only master blender and industry-favorite AJ Fernandez could have conceptualized and brought this combination to life.
Aj Fernandez Gispert Intenso Toro (6 x 50) Altadis USA gave the daunting task to master-blender AJ Fernandez, and he gave us the impressive Gispert Intenso. Dark and full-bodied, everything about this cigar screams intensity, from the bold design of the box to the dark and inviting wrapper on each stick. Intenso is the first Gispert to be made in Nicaragua, and features a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Nicaraguan criollo 98 binder and a blend Nicaragua Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano Dominican Fillers.
