Revived from an old cigar name and presented with the ornate artwork that helped make the line so memorable when it debuted in 2018, the My Father La Gran Oferta Lancero brings a traditional, slender format to one of the Garcia family’s more talked-about blends. It is handmade in Nicaragua at My Father Cigars S.A. and features an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.
In this 7 1/2 x 38 lancero, the blend lands in the medium to medium-full range with a profile centered on spice, earth, dark chocolate, and oak, supported by the rich character that has made La Gran Oferta a favorite among My Father smokers. The long, narrow vitola gives this cigar a more classic presentation than the thicker sizes in the line, while still delivering the depth expected from the brand. Smoked at an unhurried pace, it generally offers about 75 to 105 minutes of smoking time.
