It took 2 years to create the La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor, the next step in the evolution of the La Aroma de Cuba line of cigars. A collaboration between Ashton and the Garcia family, Mi Amor cigars are handmade in small-batch fashion at Don Pepin Garcia's Nicaraguan factory, and features a luscious Cuban-seed wrapper grown in Mexico and a marvelous blend of aged Nicaraguan tobaccos.
Medium to full-bodied in strength, these cigars are rich, complex and very well-balanced smokes with bold flavors of dried black cherries and black pepper present early, followed by notes of almonds, dark cocoa, crisp spices and espresso with a sweet finish. Although the San Andres wrapper variety has been utilized by manufacturers of premium cigars for years, no previously incarnation has generated more acclaim than Mi Amor.
With a rating of 93, La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor has been awarded the Number 2 Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado for 2011, and was back in the list at number 13 in 2016!
