Hoyo De Monterrey Sultans is a substantial 7 1/4 x 54 cigar from Honduras that leans into the richer side of the brand’s profile. An Ecuador wrapper and Connecticut binder surround a blend of Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Dominican tobaccos, producing a medium- to full-bodied smoke with a measured balance of spice and wood.
The large format gives this cigar a deliberate pace rather than making size its whole story. At an easy cadence, the Sultan generally delivers about 75 to 100 minutes of smoking time, making it well suited to a long evening when you want something fuller in character without moving into overwhelming strength.
