CAO Flathead The CAO Flathead series cigars are box pressed across all four sizes. They feature a brawny Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and a blend that’s heavy on Nicaraguan long leaf fillers. CAO’s senior brand manager Ed McKenna had mentioned in several interviews: “Rick Rodriguez and I were always talking about the great people we’ve met at CAO events across the country, and about the conversations we’ve had with them. It didn’t take us long to realize that the conversations were always about the same things: Cigars, Cars and girls. Not necessarily in that order. So that’s what led us to come up with Flathead”

Rocky Patel 20th Anniversary the Rocky Patel 20th Anniversary Toro uses a Honduran maduro wrapper from the Jamastran Valley over the same binder and filler from the original 20th Anniversary: a Honduran binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. The Rocky Patel 20th Anniversary is produced at the El Paraiso factory in Danli, Honduras. Providing an even burn from the first light to the very last puff, this cigar delivers a thin nutty aroma with peppery notes. It also features hints of dark chocolate, espresso and a bit of nut flavors all along the smoking experience.

Alec Bradley Prensado World Number One cigar for 2011, the Prensado Churchill from Alec Bradley was built around a new wrapper, the Corojo dos mil, seis (Corojo 2006). The wrapper was grown in late 2006 on the farm in Trojes Honduras and was in fermentation and aging through mid 2008. The Corojo 2006 possesses an abundance of strength and natural sweetness as well as adding a tremendous amount of complexity to the blend. In addition, the cigar has a beautiful reddish brown "cubanesque" look and feel. Prensado is Alec Bradley’s first traditional pressed line of cigars and the most full bodied blend to date.

Since then, it’s become one of his staple brands, but it wasn’t until last year that he decided to create a maduro version. This new interpretation was dubbed the Rocky Patel Sun Grown Maduro, and the Toro is a great representation of the full-bodied blends coming out of Nicaragua today.
