Flor De Las Antillas Toro Gordo
Flor De Las Antillas Toro Gordo
Flor De Las Antillas Toro Gordo is the broad-shouldered expression of one of My Father’s most important regular-production lines, a box-pressed Nicaraguan puro rolled at the García family’s My Father Cigars S.A. factory in Estelí. Created as a sun-grown offering, it delivers the rich, polished character that helped make Flor de Las Antillas a standout name among modern Nicaraguan cigars.
In this larger 6 1/2 x 56 format, the blend leans into the line’s signature notes of cedar, toast, nuts, pepper, and baking spice with a medium to full-bodied profile that stays balanced rather than overpowering. The Toro Gordo offers a fuller feel in hand than the standard Toro while keeping the same core identity of the blend. Smoked at an easy pace, it generally provides about 75 to 100 minutes of smoking time.
Flor de Las Antillas gained lasting recognition when the Toro size was named Cigar Aficionado’s 2012 Cigar of the Year, helping establish the line as a benchmark for box-pressed Nicaraguan cigars. For smokers who enjoy hearty ring gauges and the García family’s earthy, spice-forward style, the Toro Gordo is a natural fit.
