Classic Maduro Cigar Sampler

In the cigar world, there are staples from which all variety stems. The Connecticut shade, the Habano, the candela, and the rich and oily Maduro. There's a unique opulence, a deep and abiding taste in a Maduro shade smoke, and that inspired our Classic Maduro Cigar Sampler. We collected only the finest, the most flavorful, the most savory of all Maduro cigars for this sampler. If there's anyone who isn't convinced a Maduro cigar is a unique and jubilant experience, this sampler will change their minds.

Aj Fernandez Gispert Intenso Altadis USA gave the daunting task to master-blender AJ Fernandez, and he gave us the impressive Gispert Intenso. Dark and full-bodied, everything about this cigar screams intensity, from the bold design of the box to the dark and inviting wrapper on each stick. Intenso is the first Gispert to be made in Nicaragua, and features a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Nicaraguan criollo 98 binder and a blend Nicaragua Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano Dominican Fillers. This blend brings together notes of chocolate, earth, coffee, cinnamon, oak, leather and sweet spice.

American Sun Grown Blend The newest offering from Alec Bradley is a fuller-bodied, all-Nicaraguan leaf blend. The cigars are blended with the same Estelí & Condega-grown long-fillers and Jalapa binder used in the American Classic Blend, but are finished with an attractive sungrown Jalapa Habano wrapper. The Sun Grown offers excellent balance while directing more spice flavors to the palate.

La Gloria Cubana Serie R Black Maduro The new powerhouse from La Gloria Cubana Serie R has just arrived. Not available in stores, the new Serie R Black is made in Nicaragua and featuring midnight black, super – rich Jalapa Nicaraguan wrapper that brings a peppery twist to a great familiar taste. The new darker, richer, more mysterious Serie R cigar is described as “full bodied and full flavored Serie R appealing to serious cigar smokers,” and features a black Oscuro wrapper.

CAO Flathead The CAO Flathead series cigars are box pressed across all four sizes. They feature a brawny Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and a blend that’s heavy on Nicaraguan long leaf fillers. CAO’s senior brand manager Ed McKenna had mentioned in several interviews: “Rick Rodriguez and I were always talking about the great people we’ve met at CAO events across the country, and about the conversations we’ve had with them. It didn’t take us long to realize that the conversations were always about the same things: Cigars, Cars and girls. Not necessarily in that order. So that’s what led us to come up with Flathead”.

Rocky Patel Edge Maduro The EDGE Toro is a dark, savory smoke with a 5-year-aged tobacco blend super-charged with bold Nicaraguan-Honduran Ligero fillers, Nicaraguan binder, and a Costa Rican Maduro wrapper leaf. Full body, but creamy smooth and full of flavors, this Edge Maduro is bold and sweet.
