Another well-made Oliva Cigar
Oliva Cigars are very well constructed and the Robusto has been go to size for my smoking experiences. The Connecticut Reserve is not too long or fat which allows for a nice hour-long smoking experience. The stick was consistent with no-burn or draw issues, and I was able to smoke it to the bone with no over-heating. I enjoyed the medium power that showed up in the later half, but the flavor was on point. Even though these are not one of my everyday smokes, whenever I see an opportunity to get a double stack with the Connecticut Reserve.

I basically got ignored so I grabbed myself a Oliva and enjoyed some Memphis TN Blues.

Oliva Connecticut Toro is a wonderful Cigar
This has been my latest opportunity to smoke this wonderful Toro sized cigar, and every time I have really enjoyed the flavor profile, as well as the burn and construction. Usually a Robusto smoker, this toro size was easy to smoke and complete. Good as either an everyday or specialty smoke. From the first draw the buttery, nutty, sweet flavors blend nicely on the palate. I expected a tough draw due to the gauge size, but I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of which it drew. There was plenty of smoke and a nice consistent burn. It upheld the high regard to which I came to rely on from Oliva. Firm construction and a mild to medium strength. A great to cigar to get the day started!
