Description

Introduced in 2005, this cigar salutes the opening of Mike’s Cigars by Mike Mersel in July 1950 in Miami Beach. He started his business career as a young lad helping his father push the push-cart up Orchard Street downtown Manhattan. They were selling socks and small sundries to passers by, but soon he realized it was just too cold up there and he decided to move down to sunny Florida.
He settled down in Alton Road, here in Miami Beach and the rest is history. Mikes 1950 is a medium-to-full body cigar, sweet yet spicy and full of interesting earthy notes that will please you from start to finish with hints of nuts and coffee.

Staple cigar

As a newer cigar smoker, wow, I was really impressed with this cigar. I got it in a sampler I bought on Groupon and I’m so glad I purchased the sampler. This cigar was wonderfully smooth, tasted delicious and is definitely going to be a cigar I purchase often & or in bulk.

Excellent Surprise!

This 1950 has been rolling around in my humidor for months. It came in a sampler. Finally gave it a try, and what an excellent surprise. A little fuller bodied than my usual smoke (I’ve been thinking of changing my ways), and this cigar really opened my taste buds to what I’ve been missing. Just ordered a box!
