Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll No. 3 Churchill
Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll No. 3 Churchill
In its final bow, the Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll series reaches its crescendo with the No. 3 Churchill — a perfect blend of cigar tradition and vineyard finesse. In collaboration with Flint Knoll Winery of Napa Valley, the binder used in this edition was aged in the same French-oak barrels that held Flint Knoll’s award-winning 2021 Royal Appointment Cabernet Sauvignon.
Wrapped in an Ecuadorian Connecticut-Shade leaf, the binder is Connecticut Broadleaf, and the filler mix draws from Brazilian Mata Fina, Dominican Olor & Piloto Cubano, and Nicaraguan Jalapa tobaccos. The vitola: 7 inches × 52 ring gauge (Churchill) gives time to draw out the craft.
Expect refined notes of toasted oak, vanilla cream, and mixed nuts up front, evolving to cedar, warm earth, and fine black pepper as the smoke progresses. The body holds solidly in the medium to medium-plus range, offering elegance without over-powering intensity.
This release marks the third and final installment of the collaboration — a fitting finale for a series that marries premium tobacco craftsmanship and vineyard sensory influence.
