The Macanudo Cru Royale series cigars were introduced in 2010 to fill a gap in the Macanudo cigar lines.
The Cru Royale series was created specifically to be medium bodied and flavorful. Stronger in body than the Macanudo Café series, yet more mild than the full bodied 1968 cigars, the Macanudo Cru Royale features an Ecuadorian Habano seed wrapper that delivers satisfying flavor. Using a proprietary binder leaf known as La Vega Especial (The Special Farm in Spanish) cultivated in the Dominican Republic and a filler blend that includes hearty Brazilian Mata Fina tobacco for added depth. The result is a consistently medium bodied cigar with a great flavor profile unlike any other Macanudo offering. Rolled in four sizes including the massive Gigante, these aren’t your Daddy’s Macanudos and at Mike's Cigars we stock them all! Macanudo cigars are recognized as the best selling cigar brand in America. Originated in Jamaica in 1868, Macanudos were introduced to the US market by General Cigar in 1971, widely known for its mild flavor and body. Due to unfavorable conditions in Jamaica, such as the weather, Macanudo cigars are now produced in the Dominican Republic. Received an epic 91-rating from Cigar Aficionado magazine in the October 2013 issue! ...Read More
I brought these cigars for my significant other as a gift. Macanudo are his favorite cigars. He shared one with me one and he had one, too. The taste is strong, very robust, and the aroma is amazing. Truly great with cognac, of course. I will be ordering again soon.
Sincerely
A.P.

Macanudo Cru Royale Travel Humidor With Cigars
Quality Cigar
I received this cigar as a part of a promotional sampler that came with other Macanudo cigars. I have always been a Macanudo fan but never purchased the Cru Royale. I was pleasantly surprised with this medium-bodied smoke and look forward to smoking one again. Definitely worth giving a try.

What a smoke!
Good, quality cigar. Like any sticks that you order, season them in your humidor for 4-8 weeks. I will admit however, that I had to smoke a couple when I got the box. I wasn't disappointed. Good draw, good flavor, nice, tight ash. I am used to Hoya De Nicaragua and Perdomo Grand Cru so you know that I like a hearty, bold tasting stick. These are not quite as bold, but they are a really nice change of pace. Very Woodsy, leathery, and smooth... I am going to get another box for vacation. I recommend these sticks with a nice single malt scotch like Glenlivet or MaCalland, or a nice Bourbon

Macanudo Cru Royale Toro
Well I have had this stick in the past and loved them, so I’m purchased a box for my brothers wedding and was disappointed as they were very hard to draw. So bad as nobody wanted them. Some even fell apart as smoked, that may have been because they were shipped on the hottest part of the year to Tucson Arizona without any humidifier. it took 8 days to get here...?? Will add the rest of them to the humidor for a couple months to see if they change. Overall was disappointed!

Macanudo Cru Royale Poco Gordo
The warbling like plumage
The famous Macanudo brand is widely acclaimed even fly with this Poco Gordo. The small 24 are set in a luxury box, whose jewel is the height of its contents. Clearly top of mind of this little common module excels in its genre. Perfectly built, it comes complete with complex aromas of wood, leather and nuts. Ash takes a long time on the cigar and its combustion is very regular. It rassasit from the earliest scrolls and keeps a good tempo hour. This is my favorite Poco Gordo. It can be eaten at any time of day but especially with a good espresso.
