The Spanish Press does make a difference in the smooth burn and mild taste. I used to smoke La Gloria Cubana but tried more expensive brands in the hopes of "better" but it was not worth the extra $. Good reasonable smoke; I bought a second box.
Though my cigar palate is that of a novice, this stick is quite complex. I taste flavors of chocolate, coffee, and black pepper on the retrohale. A very good cigar.
