Then, in 1997, La Flor Dominicana began growing their very own tobacco when they acquired the La Canela farm in the Dominican Republic. When you hold a La Flor Dominicana cigar, you'll notice that the wrapper has a beautiful rustic brown color, the wrapper is very smooth and the cigar band has a classic design with a gold foil with maroon background and a purplish flower. Once you light the cigar, you'll smell rich notes of leather, wood, coffee, cinnamon, and spice.
La Flor Dominicana stated that, "In honor of our 20th anniversary we have created a very special cigar uniquely packaged in a beautiful porcelain beer stein. The cigar is made with tobaccos that were set aside several years ago in anticipation of this very special occasion. The complex and powerful flavors of this cigar originate from the best fillers and binder grown on our farm in the Dominican Republic and are complemented with a sweet and savory Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper.
