When quality meets affordability a Casa de Garcia cigar is crafted. This premium brand hailing from the Dominican Republic charms cigar connoisseurs with the variation in its line and the brands it associates itself with.
Altadis USA is responsible for creating this beautiful range of budget-friendly. Altadis USA is most known for producing big names like Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, and H. Upmann.
Casa de Garcia cigars are hand-rolled on the same tables and by the same torcedors as the other industry star brands Altadis owns. The difference is it costs a significant amount less, but the quality remains.
The Tabacalera de Garcia SAS manufactures a lot of cigars for Altadis. It is the largest cigar factory in the world and the biggest employer in the Dominican Republic, with over 5,000 employees.
It is a considerable honor to be part of the Pro Cigar Association of Dominican Cigar Manufacturers. The Tabacalera de Garcia SAS holds this honor because they commit to maintaining traditional standards and roll cigars they are proud to be credited for producing.
For over three decades the Tabacalera de Garcia SAS was under the watchful eye of cigar master José Seijas, but in 2012 he stepped down from his position at Altadis to focus on his own brand. Javier Elmudesi is now tasked with running the outlying operation, which is far from the tobacco industry center in the Dominican Republic.
The Casa de Garcia lines are mostly mild to medium strength blends consisting of Dominican and Honduran filler tobacco and various wrappers, including Connecticut Shade and Broadleaf. The exception is the Casa de Garcia Nicaragua, which has a stronger body and features both Nicaraguan and Colombian tobacco.
On their website, Altadis asks “Want a lot of cigar for your money?” Their answer to that question is the Casa de Garcia. You’ll get the most bang for your buck with these premium cigars. ...Read More
Good flavor for the ones I can draw from. My package had at least 50% that were packed too tight to get a good draw on. Not a bad smoke but will probably not reorder because of the draw issue.

Ok but not great
They are overall ok but the draw is awful and I enjoy other Casa de Garcia cigars. Seems like half the box is ok and the other not. Will not order again but will stick with Casa de Garcia brand.

Casa De Garcia Connecticut Magnum
My Favorite So Far
I absolutely enjoy the Casa De Garcia Connecticut line of products and it's become my go-to for a daily smoke...the taste you get for the price just can't be beat!
The biggest perk to the Magnum (aside from the obvious) is that I've yet to encounter ANY issues with them being rolled too tight like I have with some of the smaller formats

What you need for a daily smoke
Nice smoke, flips flavors as it goes along. Very good construction, pretty good ash/amount of smoke. For its price I rate it top 10. Recommend as summarized.

Belicoso Lite
First time trying this cgar. For the price, it is a good cigar. A little soft in roll, but the Belicoso tip gives a smooth even draw.
A nice mild flavor

Casa De Garcia Maduro Toro
Excellent Everyday Cigar!
I have been purchasing the Casa de Garcia Maduro toro cigar (and belicoso) from Mike's for many years; it is an overall very good cigar, considering the price - this is basically my "everyday" cigar. It is definitely comparable to more expensive boutique brands.

Great cigar
I have tried a few different cigars in various price ranges and I have come to love this one. I even get compliments from the ladies how it smells good. Normally women say cigars stink and ask you to move but not this one. I'd give it more stars if I could.

Nice and simple
This is a smooth smoke for any level of smoker. A little spice at the beginning with a buttery, wood finish. It goes nicely with a few fingers of whiskey next to a band fire!

Stand by Cigar
Been smoking this cigar for a little over a year now. It's my stand by/daily cigar. Nice and smooth enough to enjoy for an hour, but can stop and put it out for the day if I need to with out feeling the need to finish it. Also, can give out to the fellas/ladies ( who aren't experienced smokers ) at BBQ's or garage get togethers. Can stop to the park for a smoke and finish in the truck on the way home from work. Changed my rating from 3 to 4 based on the above review. Every once in while I get a tight, unbalanced stick, but for the most part no issues.
