Ashton Aged Maduro
ASHTON AGED MADURO

ASHTON AGED MADURO
The Ashton Aged Maduro cigar uses an extremely limited Connecticut broad leaf wrapper. Many a wrapper leaf is picked, but very few are chosen for Ashton Aged Maduro cigars. The initial sweet taste comes from the wrapper, but once lit, the cigar becomes rich and nutty much like great Madeira or Tawny Port, whose distinct flavor comes from aging in Sherry finished French oak barrels.

Rating100%Ashton Aged Maduro No. 60The OG MaduroThe way we're were brought up smoking back in the day how Maduro is supposed to taste. It's not about the kick in the teeth it's about that semisweet, dry chocolate linger on the finish. Classic Ashton

Rating80%Ashton Aged Maduro No. 50Bitter ChocolateThis is an interesting smoke. Not to my normal profile but kept my attention the whole way thru. It's dry with that 85% cocoa aroma lingering over the entire smoke. Evolution is slow and steady. No big surprises but a solid medium body and great flavor.

Rating100%Ashton Aged Maduro No. 40Fine and smoothReally like Ashtons. My first time with the Maduro was smooth throughout. Flavors a bit lighter than I expected. Great burn and draw. Second one was just as good. No one flavor overpowers, just good smooth maduro with a bourbon or a craft brown ale.
