Don started growing tobacco in Cuba about 150 years ago. His grandson, Gilberto Oliva was the one to move the family tobacco enterprise out of Cuba after the Castro regime nationalized the cigar industry in the wake of the revolution. Introduced at the 2012 IPCPR, the Oliva Serie V Melanio cigar is a celebration of the founding father’s life and takes the already world famous Oliva Serie V line to a whole new level.
