MY FATHER LA PROMESA
WRAPPER:
Ecuador Habano
BINDER:
Nicaragua
FILLER:
Nicaragua
STRENGTH:
Medium to Full
rosado oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos grown on Garcia family farms. That recipe gives the line a profile known for layered spice, earth, cedar, coffee, and measured sweetness, with body that generally sits in the medium-to-full range rather than pushing toward the heaviest end of the My Father portfolio.
La Promesa is also notable for its box-pressed presentation, which helps distinguish it within the brand’s broader lineup. The line earned early attention when the Toro was named the No. 3 Cigar of 2018 by Cigar Aficionado with a 95-point rating, a recognition that helped establish it as one of the more significant modern releases in the My Father range.
