Commemorating the year that the eponymous father whom the brand takes its name was born, the Garcia family clearly wanted to make the best possible cigar to honor the lost patriarch. To start, they picked the most decadent, full-bodied tobacco from their own exclusive Nicaraguan farm for its blend and binder, and then hand-rolled all of it into a beautiful Ecuadoran Habano double Oscuro wrapper. Sparking up this work of art treats the palate to the powerful tastes of hearty pepper, sumptuous spice, luscious earth, and syrupy chocolate on the draw. At five and a half inches, with a stout forty-wight ring gauge, this gorgeous stick provides a heavenly thirty-five-minute smoke.
